Are you our next investor?
We’re excited to share a personal project that has grown from vision to action over the past 10 years: Elements of Resilience — a regenerative lifestyle project based in Marlborough, Aotearoa New Zealand.
At its heart, it is about reclaiming harvested forestry land and turning it into a living model of ecological healing, resilient living, and shared learning.
We are looking for financial support to take our dreams to the next level!

Frequently asked questions
How much will a Certificate cost?
One (1) certificate has a set price of NZ$500 (equivalent of €260 / US$300).
How will I be compensated?
You can choose one of the following 4 options:
- Have a tree planted in your name. We will plant 1 tree per year in your name over the lifetime of the certificate. For example; if your certificate lasts 10 years, you’ll have a total of 10 trees planted in your name.
- You can choose to be listed as a supporter. We will have a supporter’s page on our website. We can link to your website and / or display your logo here. In addition, we will list our supporters on other social media platforms when possible.
- There’s also an option of receiving 3.5% interest rate per year over the lifetime of the certificate. This will be in NZ$ and will be calculated and paid on a yearly basis. During payout the exchange rate of the time will be used to convert NZ$ to your preferred currency.
- Lastly, you can also choose to not receive any reimbursement and fully support the cause with your loan!
How long is the loan term?
The Certificates will have a term of minimum 5 years and a maximum of 10 years. This means a term ending no later than 1 January 2035, but can also be redeemed earlier or renewed on request. For more details, please read our Elements of Resilience Ltd Certificate Regulations.
Can I visit the land?
We’d be more than happy to host visitors once we’ve built the infrastructure for this. Please get in touch if you’ll be visiting New Zealand in the short-term and would like to visit.
How will I receive updates?
There will be several channels of communication. We’ve got a seasonal newsletter for the wider community, to which you subscribe on our homepage. We will also send out an additional newsletter with updates to our investors. Lastly, we will also be actively sharing updates on our Youtube channel.
What do you mean with reclaim?
This specifically refers to taking the land out of clear-cut rotational forestry and moving it into permanent native forest that will last many lifetimes. By doing so, we will negate some of the many negative side-effects of production forestry and build a resilient native forest.
What about the Indigenous People of New Zealand?
We acknowledge the ancestors past and present of this land (tangata whenua). Ka mihi māua ki ngā tāngata whenua o tēnei wāhi.
We grasp the complexity of us settling this land. It’s not our intention to “own” the land as such, but rather to be caretakers / kaitiaki while the land transitions to it’s fullest potential. (Although legally speaking, of course, we are owners)
We’re doing our part by, for example:
Learning Te Reo Māori
Building relationships with the local indigenous (Māori) community
We continue to work on this and welcome any feedback.
